Michael is a lawyer in the Restructuring & Finance team in Clayton Utz's Melbourne office.  Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2019 before starting as a graduate at Clayton Utz (and qualifying as a lawyer) in 2020.  He completed rotations in Restructuring & Insolvency, Banking & Financial Services and Commercial Litigation during his time as a graduate.    Since placing in the Restructuring & Insolvency team in 2021, Michael has gained significant experience in conducting security reviews, assisting with formal insolvency appointments and advising alternative capital providers / non-bank lenders on development finance facilities for mixed-use developments across Australia.  Michael has enjoyed working on complex transactions during his time at Clayton Utz, and has relished the opportunity to work with a number of other practice teams across the firm, primarily Real Estate and Banking & Finance.   Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours);
• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting); and
• Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
