Mr. Tozer is the Managing Director of Tozer and Co. a family office with multiple interests across private and public investments as well as an exclusive sourcing and co-investment relationship with The Carlyle Group covering special situations. We seek to deploy capital with an entirely flexible mandate across capital structure, sectors and situations. Prior to establishing Tozer and Co., David was one of the founding partners (and primary bank licensee) of Houlihan Lokey (Australia). He led the restructuring, distressed debt and special situations efforts in Australia covering complex transaction advice, trading, capital raising and transformations. Mr. Tozer holds a B.Com (Finance) and an LL.B. (Law) from the University of New South Wales, graduating with merit and as the AXISS Scholar. He has completed Levels I and II of the CFA Program. He has completed the Certified Turnaround Program (CTP). He was an Authorised Adviser in the UK across M&A, securities, derivatives and trading.
