Turnaround of the Year

Recognises those involved with a successful operational turnaround of an organisation that leads to sustainable, and measurable improvements in profits and cash flows. Operational turnaround includes actions taken to improve revenues, reduce costs, reinforce management, improve working capital and cash management, refocus an organisation etc.

Turnaround entries must be submitted in one of the categories listed below. The Awards Committee may re-categorise an entry should another category be more appropriate or advantageous.

Mid-Size Company

Company revenue at onset of turnaround was $50 million to $299 million

Award Conditions and Entry Guidelines

  • Each nominee must be a current TMA Australia member in good standing at the time of submission. TMA membership is held on an individual basis.
  • For project-based categories, the company must be stable and generating positive operational cash flow at the time of submission.
  • The turnaround must be substantially completed by 30 June 2026.
  • Entries will be reviewed by a panel that reflects the diversity and breadth of the TMA Australia membership.
  • All entries are assessed on their individual merit. The committee reserves the right not to select a winner in a category if no submission meets the required standard.
  • The committee may also re-categorise entries if they consider an alternative category to be more appropriate.
