Turnaround Case Study Competition

Sponsored by Allegro

TMA Australia and Allegro Funds are pleased to present their annual turnaround case competition.

Participants will be provided with a real company facing challenges and requiring a turnaround. Working in a small team, you will prepare and present an investment recommendation, deal price and structure, and turnaround plan to a private equity fund’s investment committee.

Submit your own team (up to 5 participants) or enter as an individual. Please note that we can assist with allocating you to a team.

The competition represents a dynamic opportunity to build and apply turnaround skills, to network with your peers and make new connections. It’s also a chance for participants to take the lead on a pitch that usually the domain of their senior colleagues!

The winning team will be awarded a prize, and recognised at the TMA National Conference in September.

Upcoming TMA Australia Certification: Members that participate in the case competition will be eligible for TMA Australia certification due to be offered later this year. The main elements to obtain certification will be participation in the Case Competition and completion of the online Turnaround Strategy Course. Prior year Case Competition participants will also be eligible. Further information regarding certification criteria will be available soon.
